Patterson Valley Water Company - Filtration Improvement

The Patterson Valley Water Company is located in Otero County, Colorado. The company serves approximately 40 customers and is currently under a compliance violation of the Radionuclide Rule. 

In 1999, EPA introduced the Radionuclide Rule. The limits for combined radium and gross alpha were set at 5 pCi/L and 15 pCi/L respectively. 

​Bai Engineers (BE) was selected to perform a pilot study and design a new water treatment system. The designed system is capable of treating 40 gpm.
